ChargeBuddy - Support

Need help with ChargeBuddy? The information below covers common questions about recording and reviewing your EV charging history.

Logging a Charging Session

Enter the session details you have, such as the vehicle, date, energy added, cost, charging location, network, charging type, and duration. Statistics and charging-speed results depend on the information entered, so complete and accurate records produce the most useful insights.

Dashboard and Statistics

ChargeBuddy calculates dashboard totals, recent 30-day activity, lifetime statistics, home and public charging breakdowns, monthly trends, comparisons, estimated battery cycles, and charge highlights from your saved sessions. If a number looks unexpected, check the underlying sessions for missing energy, cost, duration, vehicle, location, or charging-type details.

Vehicles, Networks, and Locations

You can keep charging records organized across multiple vehicles, charging networks, and locations. Use consistent names and classifications to make filters, breakdowns, and comparisons easier to understand.

Finding a Previous Charge

Use the history search and available filters to narrow your records by details such as date, vehicle, location, network, or charging type. Edit an existing session if you need to correct its information.

Local Data

ChargeBuddy stores your charging records and settings locally on your device. It does not use accounts or cloud synchronization. Deleting a record or uninstalling the app may permanently remove locally stored information, so maintain an appropriate device backup.
