By downloading or using EVTools, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the app.

License and Intellectual Property

EVTools is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, attempt to extract the source code of, translate, or create derivative versions of the app except where applicable law expressly permits it. The app and its related trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual-property rights belong to Eric Walker.

Estimates and Real-World Results

EVTools provides informational estimates based on the values you enter and the assumptions used by its calculations. Range, charging time, charging cost, energy, and charging-speed results are estimates only and are not guarantees of actual vehicle or charger performance.

Real-world results can differ because of factors including:

• Weather, temperature, terrain, traffic, and driving style
• Vehicle condition, battery age, usable battery capacity, and accessory use
• Charging losses, battery temperature, charge level, and battery-management limits
• Charger capability, voltage, current, power sharing, and electrical conditions
• Utility rates, taxes, fees, rate schedules, and other costs
• Incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or rounded input values

Do not rely on EVTools as your only source when planning a trip, deciding whether you can reach a charger, estimating a bill, or making a safety-critical decision. Confirm important information with your vehicle, charging provider, electricity provider, and other appropriate sources.

Charging Sessions and Local Data

Charging-session records, preferences, and other information saved by EVTools remain locally on your device where applicable. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for maintaining access to and backups of your device. Removing the app may delete its locally stored information.

Availability and Changes

EVTools is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The app may be changed, updated, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Features may not always be available or work with every device or operating-system version.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, no warranty is made that EVTools will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate. Eric Walker is not responsible for losses, damages, costs, missed charging opportunities, towing expenses, or other consequences arising from use of the app or reliance on its estimates. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to These Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page and will be effective when posted. Your continued use of EVTools after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
