Acceptance
These terms govern use of Flights, provided by Eric Walker. By using the app, you agree to these terms and Apple's applicable platform terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Purpose
Flights is a personal record-keeping tool. It lets you enter flight and trip details, view map-based routes and calculated summaries, organize itineraries, create share cards, use widgets, and import or export records.
Your records and responsibilities
You are responsible for information you enter, import, export, or share and for having the right to use it. Keep appropriate backups and check important records independently. Do not use the app or its sharing features unlawfully or to violate another person's rights.
Maps, airport matches, and calculations
Airport search results and map information are supplied through Apple services. Airport matches can be incomplete or incorrect. Distances are point-to-point estimates based on stored airport coordinates, not measurements of the route actually flown. Statistics depend on the records you enter. Flights is not an aviation navigation, dispatch, scheduling, safety, or official travel-record system; do not rely on it for operational or safety-critical decisions.
iCloud, exports, and availability
Flights is configured to synchronize records through Apple's CloudKit service when available. Synchronization, Apple Maps, widgets, system sharing, and file destinations depend on Apple services, device settings, connectivity, and third-party destinations you select. Availability and timing are not guaranteed. Exported files and shared cards are your responsibility after they leave the app.
Acceptable use
You may not attempt to disrupt the app, circumvent platform security, reverse engineer it where prohibited by law, or use it to distribute unlawful or harmful material.
Intellectual property
The app, its design, and original materials are owned by Eric Walker except for Apple frameworks, system content, and other materials owned by their respective holders. These terms grant a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the app under applicable App Store rules.
Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Flights is provided “as is” and “as available.” No promise is made that the app, synchronized data, map results, calculations, widgets, imports, or exports will always be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain unaffected.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Eric Walker is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of the app, including loss of records, missed travel, or reliance on map results or calculated statistics. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and termination
The app or these terms may be updated. Continued use after updated terms become effective means you accept them. You may stop using the app at any time. Access may be limited where necessary to protect the app, users, or applicable rights.
No chosen jurisdiction
These terms do not designate a governing jurisdiction or forum. Mandatory laws and consumer protections that apply to you remain applicable.
